Love love love this idea. You can’t be perfect when you first start. Just aim to improve. Don’t compare your beginner self to someone else’s advanced life work. Just start.  (And I could have added so many more examples, playing the piano, learning a language, doing yoga, starting meditation, anything new!)

You know how you come home and worry about all the things you did today that weren’t perfect?  What if you were to let go of what happened today?  You can’t change it now.  Just set an intention to do things that make you feel good tomorrow.  A fresh new day.

WEEK 29 – 20 JULY 2017

What a week.  One of those times where everything in life seems to be coming together.  And of course, as always, that’s just about our perspective.  But it feels like there have been big shifts for me recently.  All my mindset work over the last 9 months is paying off.  I’m so happy and at peace with the world.  Confident in myself.  But this video is all about how you get close to your big goals, you take never ending baby steps in the right direction, and then suddenly it seems like something magic happens.  Has this happened for you as well?

WEEK 27 – 5 JULY 2017

Just watched Bethany Mota being interviewed by Lewis Hewis.  I started off wanting to be annoyed about a 21yo upstart with everything.  But she’s pure heaven.  Beautiful heart, beautiful messages.  What she has learnt from being cyber bullied at 12 and how it’s made her push for a better world.  Love everything about her.  Wonderful role model for teenage girls.  Anyway I talk about some of her messages in the video (while snuggled in PJs).  Hopefully she can have such a big impact on you.

WEEK 26 – 24 JUNE 2017

Our minds are the most fascinating thing.  You think you’ve got a great handle on being positive and then you suddenly realise that quite often you are jumping to the negative conclusion.  Do we all do this?  Seems such a senseless thing to do – if we can stop doing some of this, change this habit, surely it has to bring a lot more happiness into life?

WEEK 25 – 19 JUNE 2017

Just a quick video this week.  I struggled feeling like I was going backwards and that everything seemed too hard in life and why did we bother.  So I sulked for a few days.  Then I got back on with doing what I can to live a great life.  Tonight was a perfect Monday night of cleaning up, healthy dinner, coaching study, coaching someone and some gentle yoga.  I am still heading for more greatness.  You can too.  Be kind to yourself lovely human.

No video?  What?  That can’t be.  I’m practicing what I preach this week – be kind to yourself.  All my energy and focus is going to heal the dog bite on my leg.  I’ll be back better than ever next weekend I’m sure.  Big love to you this week for so much happiness.  xx

I’m starting to think that setting a goal and achieving it is the way to some serious happiness.  If we have no goals I don’t think we get the same sense of awe of ourselves and what we are capable of.  I think moving forward and taking steps to better is becoming a key for what makes me happy.  You?

WEEK 22 – 28 MAY 2017

My mantra for this week is ‘BECAUSE I CAN’.  I am so in love with it.  It might be fake confidence but it is helping me to achieve things I never imagined I could do.  So so happy.  Getting out of your comfort zone and pushing yourself through a little discomfort leaves you feeling so proud, satisfied and very very happy.

Hey good looking!  Hope you’re having a sensational week.  This week I am contemplating those messages in your head that are so deeply ingrained that we never bother to question them anymore.  I know one of mine has been incredibly negative and stopped me from doing nearly everything.  Hugely liberating to finally become aware of it and start replacing it slowly with something that lets me say yes to new things more often.

Hey honey bunch, this is just a reminder that the real world is not perfect and we are not going to be incredibly happy every single day.  There are going to be bad days (or not so good days) and it’s okay.  Please don’t try to fight them.  Allow yourself to feel the feelings and spend some time with yourself.  Give yourself permission to feel like rubbish.  The harder we fight against them, the harder they hold on.  Just let them be and eventually they should pass (and if they don’t please talk to someone about them).

I’m also relatively sure this might make a couple of people I know uncomfortable.  Ewww she has no make up on and didn’t put any effort into looking good in public.  How can she do that?  She can look so much better!  My question to you is, does it make any difference to the message?  Would the message be more believable if I was wearing makeup and had perfectly styled hair?  Or is it more genuine and believable because it’s just me?  Would I have been this excited after spending 2 hours being styled?  Do we need to wear make up and look our best at all times to be loved?  Are we better at our jobs with make up?  Are we a better friend when we look our best?  Personally I don’t believe so.  And hopefully in time I can convince you to love you for the beautiful natural you and that you can love yourself unconditionally.  Because at the end of the day I firmly believe it’s not how we look, but who we are that matters.  And it’s why some of the most beautiful people in the world, to me, are the ones that radiate happiness and love no matter their age.  How can you not adore Louise Hay?  So, do you enjoy more the prettiest or the happiest people you know?  Something to ponder until next week.
